Bohemian FC can confirm that full-back Liam Smith has left the club by mutual consent to return to Scotland.
Smith, 29, joined Bohs from Cheltenham Town in July of last year, making 29 first-team appearances in all competitions in the time since.
Everyone at Dalymount Park wishes Liam all the very best of luck on his return to Scotland and in his future career.
Smith said: “I would like to thank everyone involved with Bohs for the past year.
“I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the club, the support we have received, and I have no doubt the boys will end the season on a high and get the rewards for all their hard work.”
Manager Alan Reynolds said: “I want to thank Liam for his time at the club and his contribution over the past year, he has been an excellent professional.
“I’ve spoken to Liam over the past number of weeks and after those conversations, he felt now was the right time to go back to Scotland. We wish him all the very best for the future.”
