The Bohemian Football Club has been a members owned and run Football club for 135 years, since its foundation in 1890.

Our current membership stands at over 2,500 full & associate members.

Members own 100% of the club and elect a Board of Directors from within the Membership at each year’s AGM to run the club on an ongoing basis. Since 1890, the principle of one member one vote applies.

Any member with at least 3 years continuous service can run for election to a board position.

Upon election to the board, each position is for a period of 2 years.

There are currently 8 board positions elected by the membership, with the possibility of the board appointing up to 2 further independent directors with relevant expertise.

FAQs

How do I become a member?

Due to capacity constraints at present, we are at capacity but in the off-season of each year, we sell any available memberships for the upcoming season. Any availability is purely due to non-renewal of previous seasons’ memberships, so numbers tend to be extremely limited.

How much does membership cost?

Adult Membership is €400. (Those aged over 18 who are no longer in full-time education).

Family Membership is €640 (Two adults and up to 2 two children under 18 from the same household and one family income i.e. spouse/partner not siblings)

Student Membership is €250 (Full-time Second or Third Level students with appropriate evidence of same)

Senior Membership €100 (with 10 years consecutive membership prior to reaching age 65)

Associate Member for a child of a full member under 18years of age is €100.

My child is about to reach the age threshold on an associate member, what happens now?

They will be entitled to retain membership, but they will move from associate to student/adult as appropriate.

What does Membership entitle me to?

Access to all home league games at Dalymount Park. Priority access to purchase tickets for Cup ties, European games and away games. You are also entitled to attend and vote at the club’s AGMs and any EGMs. Each member also receives an exclusive member’s pin badge each year.

Does Membership guarantee me a ticket to away games?

No, it does not. As the away allocations for league games are smaller than the current size of the membership, all members are emailed a link at the same time on a first come first served basis; however, a ticket to any given fixture cannot be guaranteed as demand frequently outstrips supply.

Is a season ticket the same as Membership?

No, there are no ownership or voting rights with a season ticket and Members get first preference for away tickets. However season ticket holders are guaranteed ability to purchase their seat for all home Cup & European games.

How will I know when Memberships are becoming available?

The sale date of any available membership for the following year will be advertised well in advance on the club’s social media pages. Due to demand, new memberships will be sold on a first come first served basis online, in the same way as match tickets, to give everyone an equal chance of purchasing one.

Can I pay for Membership by instalments?

Full, family and student membership can be paid for over 12 months by direct debit with a small additional processing fee attached. Please note, missed repayments may result in the temporary suspension or permanent cancellation of your membership card(s), along with refusal to accept this method of payment for subsequent seasons.

I am an existing member who wishes to add additional membership(s) to my own?

Again, due to capacity constraints, we sadly aren’t freely able to permit this. You should attempt to buy the appropriate membership type in the general sale ahead of the next season.

I live outside of Ireland and would be like to a full member without ability to attend games?

Unfortunately, restrictions on capacity impact membership numbers available, regardless of whether you intend on attending games or not.

If I don’t get a membership what are my options?

There will be season tickets available for purchase (Des Kelly Stand only) ahead of the 2026 season.

You can also purchase individual match tickets for each game on the club website a number of weeks before each match and the sales schedule is hosted on the website at bohemians.ie
