Bohemian FC can confirm the transfer of U20s goalkeeper Joe Collins to Championship club Swansea.
Collins’ potential was spotted at a young age as he rose through the age groups of the Bray Wanderers academy system before joining the Bohemians academy at the start of 2023.
From Kilcoole in Wicklow, Collins quickly progressed further at Bohemians, becoming a key man for their U20s over the past two years, signing his first professional contract and featuring for the first team in cup competitions.
His consistent form throughout his development has seen him recognised at international level too, representing Ireland at U15, U16, U17 and U18 level.
The 18-year-old is described by the Bohemians Head of Academy Trevor Croly as driven, extremely mature, a brilliant communicator and a consummate professional who is really hungry to prove himself at the highest level.
