Bohemian FC is delighted to confirm that we will kick off the 2026 season at the Aviva Stadium with a Dublin derby against St Patrick’s Athletic on Sunday February 8.
Club President Matt Devaney said: “We are delighted to be returning to the Aviva Stadium again for our opening home game of the season.
“Our 2025 opener was a massive success, breaking the all-time League of Ireland attendance record of 33,208 – an occasion that demonstrated the health and strength of the league.
“From a Bohemian perspective, it was an opportunity to gauge how much our club has grown within our community.
“It was an occasion that enabled a huge number of people to attend one of our biggest fixtures who would normally be unable to do so because of capacity constraints at Dalymount Park.
“This time around, we have made the decision to limit capacity at the Aviva Stadium to the lower bowl and premium sections, meaning a capacity for this game of just under 30,000.
“That capacity decision will not be reversed irrespective of ticket sales, but gives us an attainable sell-out capacity target to aim for.
“As discussed with members previously, last year’s game at the Aviva Stadium raised vitally important funds for the club. It is our aim to emulate that once more ahead of what will be a challenging couple of years away from Dalymount Park.”

Note to members/season ticket holders: As this game is being hosted in the Aviva Stadium, membership cards and season tickets will not be valid. Anyone wishing to attend this game must purchase a match ticket. A separate email detailing refund information will follow.
2026 League of Ireland fixtures released
After our SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division opener against St Pat’s, Bohemians face two away fixtures – first against Sligo Rovers on St Valentine’s Day and then against Derry City on February 20.
Our first Dalymount Park fixture of the season will be another Dublin derby, this time against Shamrock Rovers on Friday February 27.
Our men’s team’s final home game in Dalymount Park before its redevelopment will be a repeat of the stadium’s very first fixture in 1901 when Bohs host Shelbourne on Friday October 23.
Bohemians’ SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division campaign kicks off away to Peamount United on Saturday March 14.
Bohs’ first home game of the new season will see them host Cork City at Dalmount Park on Saturday March 21.
Our women’s team’s final Dalymount Park fixture of the season will be a derby against Shamrock Rovers on Saturday October 24.
