Alan Reynolds has said his Bohemians side have dusted themselves down over the weekend and will be raring to go again when they travel to face Galway United at Eamon Deacy Park on Monday.
Bohs go into the game after a frustrating 2-1 defeat against Waterford at Dalymount Park on Friday night.
It was a game Bohs dominated for long spells but mistakes at the back proved costly.
Despite Bohs piling men forward in the second half in search of an equaliser, Waterford held firm and there was to be no last-gasp dramatic heroics that Bohs fans had enjoyed in their three previous outings.
With another quick Friday-Monday turnaround, Bohs have had little time to dwell on it, but Reynolds said: “We were really disappointed not to get something out of the game.
“Looking back on it and the periods of possession and balls around the box that we had, we should have had enough about us to get something from the game, and probably win it too.
“I can’t fault the players for effort and I don’t think the fans would either, they gave them a good reception coming off at the end of both halves.
“But we were very frustrated. The reality left points behind us. We were beaten in a game we should have won.
“For me, both goals we conceded were preventable. We’ve shown in recent weeks that we are capable of pushing back and getting a result when we go behind, but you’re not going to be able to do that every week, your luck will eventually run out and it did on Friday.

“So we need to learn from that. I was pleased with how we didn’t let our heads drop and we threw the kitchen sink at it trying to get back into it but if we give away goals like the ones we did, then you give yourself a mountain to climb and give the opposition something to hang on to.
“We have to stop making things harder for ourselves. We know we have players in attack capable of hurting teams but have to be more clinical in how we stop players capable of hurting us.
“But overall, over the past number of weeks we have had some really good performance and some big results.
“We were frustrated on Friday but what is important now is that we learn from it. We know what we are capable of, we believe in what we are working towards so we dust ourselves down and look to the next one.”

And against John Caulfield’s Galway United at Eamon Deacy Park, they are facing a team who have already beaten them this season.
Reynolds said: “Galway have only lost three games this season and have proven that they are one of the hardest teams to beat in the league so we are going there knowing we really have to up our game.
“They lost 2-0 to a really good St Pat’s team on Friday but the scoreline didn’t reflect Galway’s performance. They’re big and powerful and they’ve shown already how they can hurt us if you give them an inch, so every man taking the pitch knows they have a job to do.”
