Bohemian FC unveil women’s away jersey in partnership with Annie Mac

Aug 14, 2025

Bohemian FC, in partnership with Annie Mac, today announced the release of the club’s 2025 women’s away jersey.

100% fan-owned not-for-profit, Bohemian FC, release a very special women’s away shirt in collaboration with Annie Mac for pre-sale.

Featuring club partner Dublin Bus/Bus Átha Cliath, with a two-tone orange and pink design, a DJ play/pause symbol across the centre and a woven hem tag of the club crest and Annie’s signature, it is manufactured by O’Neill’s Sportswear Ireland and was designed by Annie Mac – the exclusive shirt is available for pre-order now at shop-bohemianfc.com

All profits from the shirt will be split between Bohemian FC and two local schools, Christ the King Girls School Cabra and Presentation Primary School George’s Hill in the North Inner City which Bohs in the Community works with.

Fifty percent (50%) of the profits from the shirt will be distributed by Bohs in the Community to the two schools to enable them to deliver improved music lessons (including DJ training) to their students. This enables more local young children to engage with music in a school setting.

Annie Mac said: “I’m absolutely delighted to partner with Bohs to design this women’s away kit. I’m a huge fan of Bohs as a club and the women’s team particularly. I wanted to bring some of my DJing into the design and loved the idea of the play-pause motif – DJing is about tempo, timing, building momentum, understanding and reading a dance floor.

“There are so many parallels to playing football, but ultimately it is a solo job, whereas football, when successful, is utterly contingent on team playing. I like the symbolism of this brilliant squad wearing the play-pause motif on their chests. They play together. They win together.

“Record numbers of people have been coming to watch Bohs women recently and I hope this shirt can contribute to them getting the support and funding they need to grow and grow.

“And I couldn’t be happier to see a portion of the profits from these shirts go to Christ The King School and Presentation George’s Hill for funding for music education.”

Daniel Lambert, COO Bohemian FC, said: “We are delighted to officially put this shirt on pre-sale today following the team wearing it over the past few months, special thanks to Annie for working on it with us.

“And to once again have funds going towards such a worthy cause, assisting young children locally to be able to further engage with music through their schools is brilliant. Music has the ability to change lives and often young children with great talents aren’t afforded the opportunity to realise this.”

Eimear Monaghan, Christ The King School Cabra, said: “It is an incredible honour for our school to be chosen as a beneficiary of this inspiring campaign alongside Bohs and the amazing Annie Mac. The proceeds will directly support our music programme – helping us purchase much needed supplies and equipment.

“For our DEIS school in the heart of Cabra, this means opening more doors for our students, giving them access to the creative opportunities they deserve and nurturing talent that might otherwise go unheard. We’re so grateful to be part of something that makes such a meaningful difference.”

Lorraine Hession, Presentation Primary School George’s Hill, said:

“PPS George’s Hill is a DEIS Band 1 inner-city school located in the heart of Dublin. We are
committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging educational experience for all our
children. This commitment aligns closely with the ethos of Bohemian Football Club, which made the opportunity to partner with them an easy decision.

“When we were offered training sessions with some of Bohs players, we jumped at the chance. Our students thoroughly enjoyed the experience, with many even meeting their local football heroes.

“To add to the excitement, the club generously provided free match tickets—giving many children the chance to attend their very first women’s football match, which received rave reviews from students and families alike.

“Our partnership with Bohs has significantly raised the profile of women in sport within our school community. Being supported by Bohs in their new jersey initiative will not only continue to promote women’s soccer but also open up even more opportunities for our students.

“Importantly, the funds raised through this initiative will help provide access to music and the arts, enriching our students’ learning experiences in meaningful and lasting ways. We are incredibly grateful to Bohemian FC for their continued support.”
