Jun 16, 2025

The Bohemian FC Pride Committee is delighted to confirm the club’s participation in upcoming events celebrating Pride month.

This Saturday, June 21, following our SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division game against Treaty United, Bohemians will host our annual Pride of Dalymount Cup, when a Bohemians fans XI take on the Dublin Devils, Dublin’s LGBT+ and inclusive football club.

  • Turnstiles open at 2pm: Free ice cream for first 400 people in
  • Bohemians v Treaty United kicks off at 3pm
  • The Pride of Dalymount Cup kicks off at 5.30pm
  • Celebrate Pride: Our bars open until late

The following Saturday, June 28, we invite supporters and the wider community to join us at the annual Pride Parade, assembling on O’Connell Street from 11am, and to join our post-parade drinks in Wigwam on Middle Abbey Street.

  • Contact pride@bohemians.ie to register for a wristband for the parade
  • Assemble by the Bohs Bus on O’Connell Street from 11am until 12.10pm (latest)
  • Wear your Bohs colours on the day
  • Bring sunscreen and hydration
  • Join us in Wigwam on Middle Abbey Street after the parade

Finally, on Friday July 4 at 12 noon, there will be an online talk ‘How sport can help the LGBTQI+ community manage minority stress’ by Inner Voice Inner Journey.

You can register for, and find out more information about, this free online event here.

The above events follow on from last week’s successful evening at Dalymount Park where there was a screening of the Copa 71 – Football is for the 99% documentary, which tells the story of a World Cup played in Mexico in front of hundreds of thousands of fans, but soon belittled, hidden, and forgotten about for decades.

The screening was followed by a panel discussion with Gavin Jennings (RTÉ’s Morning Ireland), Linda Gorman (former player and manager, Irish national team), Rachael Kelly (captain, Bohemians), Gerry Farrell (historian).
